                     "I'm back," smiles the Moon for the zillionth time.  But it never gets old especially over the ocean on a clear night just after sunset.  One of the bonuses of Fall is you don't have to stay out late to see it.  The down side is you freeze your tutu waiting on the chilly shore.  Clouds are the enemy of a good moonrise.   Then moon glow can't penetrate the gray(all 50 shades of it).  Finally the moon appears high in the sky above the clouds.  It's very white like a big light bulb.  The orange and gold is gone.  All that appears is white light.  Maybe next month or the one after that will be clear.  Until then old memories of golden super  moons or blue moons must be sufficient for the loonies or is it moonies of the world.

WARMTH

MENAUHANT-EAST FALMOUTH,MASSACHUSETTS

       It's Fall but still it is warm in Cape Cod.  Each day since the Equinox.we wait for the chilly nights when we contemplate a fire in the fireplace or turning on the  heat.  We put the down quilt on the bed and sweat under it until we kick it off.  Football is upon us but baseball goes on and on into the Fall.  I've even seen some hearty souls in late September swimming in Vineyard Sound.  Perhaps October will be more definitive and establish the feeling of Fall.  So for now we hum "The Last Rose of Summer" and keep MUM about the impending chill of Fall.

FALL IN,FALL DOWN,FALL OUT, FALL BEHIND

                       AUTUMN-BET YOU THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO SAY FALL.  It is sneaking in upon us with SUMMER'S warmth on its wings.  The frost is not yet on the pumpkin.  Actually I haven't seen very many pumpkins.  No one wants to rush the season while Summer's warmth remains.  So gradually I'm falling for Fall.  It's  Summer without the sweat at first.   The daylight will  trickle down to a precious few hours soon enough.  Until then fall in love with FALL that fickle season that brings the cold eventually after the EQUINOX marks diminishing sunlight.

                        LIFE IS BUT A POOR PLAYER
                         WHO STRUTS AND FRETS HIS HOUR UPON THE STAGE
                           AND THEN IS HEARD NO MORE.

VOTING FOR GOD AND JERUSALEM

                                  It took three voice votes at the Democratic Convention to put God and Jerusalem back in the Democratic platform.  They couldn't get a majority voice vote.  Even the third vote that was declared in favor of God didn't sound like a resounding majority.  That was the pivotal point of the election for the Democrats just like Akins' belief that pregnancy can be prevented during rape if you really don't want sex was the coup de grace for the Republicans.
                                     Every pulpit in America especially the Baptists is firing up the congregation over that tactical error on the God vote.  The synagogues are probably not too happy over Jerusalem being removed and then half heartedly voted back in as the capital of  Israel. So there goes the election.  God knows they tried but not convincingly.
                                        So all the Obamas,Bidens,and Clintons can't put he Democratic Party's chance of winning back together again.  The Republican Convention was insane intimating all the Right Wing insanity of no abortions ever,Birther issues,Obamacare,drill baby drill, blaming Obama exclusively  for  US economic woes  and socialism(aka Communism).    One weak voice vote for God at the Democratic Convention negated it all.

GOD RULES NOT YOU FOOLS

                                            All I can say to the Democrats is it's GOD stupid that you need to worry about.  But then again isn't it always?
